I found this awesome color tool called 0to255 that helps web designers find lighter and darker colors based on any color they choose. This is a great color tool even if you have a myPantone Palettes or a GenoPal. I have both of those and they are awesome, but to have 0to255 as another source for color inspiration is so nice. I’ve driven myself to the point of madness trying to match certain colors and this just takes the cake. I will definatley be using 0to255 in the future.

There is a great font download for use at One By Four Studio. They have a serif and sans-serif version available. I love this font! Click Here to Download.

Have you ever wondered if a site is actually down or if it’s your connection the web? I’ve gone crazy trying to figure that out before and someone very wise suggested this site to me. It’s a life saver if you don’t have another person to actually check on a site for you. If you’re like me and your work in an office alone, my stand-by is to call my husband at work and ask him if a site works on his computer. It’s always fun to talk to him during the day, but I hate bothering him. So, now I use Down For Everyone or Just Me? Make sure you check it out and bookmark the site. It’s well worth it.
This is the Christmas card I created for 2009 using Photoshop CS4. My two girls are my inspiration and are just too cute to not show off!

I’ve just finished up a new logo design and site design for Sweet Boutique Design. It was a tough decision for layout and colors, but I decided on black, pink and white to keep it simple, classy and chic. I love illustrations in headers, but this time I opted for a jquery slider that showcased some of my recent web design projects.
A matching Twitter page was created that showcases the simplicity of the new site design as well. You can follow me on http://twitter.com/sweetdesigner.
I am going to be posting more about my logo design process for SBD and promotional materials I’ve been developing so stay tuned.
